This story is based on the life of Billy Bayly, a real boy who lived in Pennsylvania during the Civil War and had an unlikely friendship with a Southern soldier. "Cousin" didn't want to fight for the South, so he pleaded with the family at Gettysburg to help him.  Should Billy risk his own life to help a young Rebel soldier?
