Where the River Begins - Patricia St. John Classics

Francis is a confused and misguided boy who's headed for trouble. He draws his friend, Ram, an immigrant from India, into his mischief, and even joins a gang of no-good ruffians. Meanness and fighting flow from his life. But when Francis's mum is sent away to recover her health, Francis goes to live with a Christian family. Things begin to change --- but can it be true that "God is Love?"  When Francis discover a bubbling wellspring nearby, he learns that if a spring is fouled, it can never be the river of life that God intends.
