Last night I swam with Chincoteague ponies, and Starbuck was there too! Okay, I was dreaming, but it seemed so real! I swear I felt the wet hair of their manes and heard them nickering. Wouldn't it be great if we could really, truly swim with the ponies from Assateague to Chincoteague? That would be my dream come true!

It's the week of the annual Chincoteague Pony Swim, and it's the first time Willa and Ben are going. Misty Inn is fully booked for the days leading up to the swim. As if the island's biggest event isn't exciting enough, the Dunlaps learn an important travel critic will be staying with them. The kids are determined to show the special guest just how nice Misty Inn can be, but the critic is undercover! How can Willa and Ben show off the inn if they don't know whom they're showing it to?
