Welcome to the Pet Rescue Club! The series begins when Janey starts a blog where people can share cute pet photos and stories. She never imagined she'd receive a heartbreaking photo of a skinny, abandoned dog. She calls on her friends Lolli, Zach, and Adam to help–and that's just the start! When these animal-loving fourth graders discover how many animals need help in their suburban hometown, they can't just sit by and do nothing...

    Titles include:

    A New Home for Truman

Janey loves animals, but can't have a pet of her own because of her father's allergies. So Janey creates a blog for kids to post cute photos of their dogs and cats. But when she receives a heartbreaking photo of a skinny, homeless dog, Janey isn't sure what to do. Her friends Lolli, Adam, and Zach want to help. Can the four of them save the dog–and maybe start a pet rescue club to help other animals in need?

    No Time for Hallie

Zach's neighbor just has a new baby–and now they're threatening to take their cat, Hall Cat, to the animal shelter! The kids have been volunteering there since starting the Pet Rescue Club, and they know an older cat might have trouble getting adopted. Can they convice the family to give the kitty another chance–or maybe find someone who truly appreciates everything an older cat has to offer?

    The Lonely Pony

While out walking a dog, Adam notices a shaggy, thin pony standing alone in a field. Day after day he sees the same lonely pony. The kids in the Pet Rescue Club discover that the pony used to be the companion to a racehorse. But now the racehorse has retired, the owner has no use for the little pony. Looks like another case for the Pet Rescue Club! Will Adam, Janey, Lolli, and Zach find a way to help?

    Too Big to Run

Zach's mom has a new patient–a giant dog named Maxi, who has been helping her owner train for a marathon. Maxi's knees can't handle all that running, and now she needs an operation. Time for the kids in the Pet Rescue Club to help! Together they find a way to raise money for Maxi's surgery and come up with a great way for Maxi to find the perfect new career!

    A Puppy Called Disaster

When the Third Street Animal Shelter is overflowing with pets in need of a place to stay after a tornado sweeps through the town, Janey and the rest of the Pet Rescue Club spring into action! They work tirelessly to reunite pets with their people, including an adorable little puppy that Janey calls Disaster.

    Champion's New Shoes

Janey, Lollie, Adam, and Zach are back for a new animal-loving mission! The Pet Rescue Club is planning a fundraising event at the Third Street Shelter when they get an interesting call: the town over needs help with the happiest dog around, Champion, who needs prosthetic legs. The Pet Rescue Club already has their hands full with eight homeless hamsters and volunteer duties at the Third Street Animal Shelter. Can Janey and her friends coordinate an adoption fair to raise enough money to help Champion and find homes for the hamsters?

    A PURR-fect Pair

In volume 7, the Third Street Shelter is at capacity…with lots and lots of cats! Luckily, Janey, Lolli, Adam, and Zach are on the case! They all must work together to find loving homes for as many cats and kittens as they can. The kids put their heads together and arrange for a Purr-fect Pair event, where people can adopt two cats for the price of one. Will Janey be able to keep the promise she made to Chester, an older one-eyed cat, to find him a new home, too? Maybe all he needs to do is find the other half of his purr-fect pair!

    Bailey, the Wonder Dog

Career Day has the Pet Rescue Club thinking about their futures, and Adam has decided that he wants to be a baker! Why not test out recipes with a fundraising bake sale for the Third Street Shelter? While planning for the big day, they find a sick dog behind a dumpster and bring her to the clinic. Seeing her condition makes the Pet Rescue Club work even harder to raise money at the bake sale. The poor pup needs time and care to begin to trust people again, but soon shows that she might just be a superhero in disguise! Will the kids find Bailey the Wonder Dog a rescuer of her own?
