Remnant Waldenses 1686 AD

This story is a narrative written by a resident of Susa, Italy in the last few years of the 1600's. He describes a number of events that were a part of his hamlet's participation in history. He was educated in the local church school and through the efforts of his father. His education included the study and reading of Latin and the local French language. His father was a reader which was passed on to his children. The writer was a leather man by trade and an involved person in his village.
